Mirari: 3D & CAD Viewer
Mirari ("the app") is a 3D model viewer for Android. The app itself does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal data. Two Google components it relies on (Google Play Billing for purchases, and Google Play Services for AR for the optional AR view) communicate with Google as described below.
Files you open
The models, material files (.mtl) and images you open are read on your device only, to display them. STEP and IGES files are briefly copied to the app's private cache so they can be converted, and deleted straight afterwards (or the next time the app starts, if it was interrupted). They are never uploaded anywhere.
The app remembers a short list of recently opened files (their names and the system permission to reopen them) in its private storage so you can reopen them quickly. You can remove entries on the home screen. The list is not included in Android backups and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Screenshots and exports
Screenshots and exported models are saved where you choose (or to Pictures/Mirari) on your device. Nothing is sent off the device.
Camera (AR view)
The optional View in AR feature uses your camera through Google Play Services for AR (ARCore) to place the model in your surroundings. Camera images are processed in real time on your device and are not recorded, stored or transmitted by Mirari. Google Play Services for AR is provided by Google LLC and governed by Google's Privacy Policy; see also ARCore's data disclosure.
Camera permission is only requested when you open the AR view, and you can revoke it at any time in Android settings.
Purchases
Mirari Pro is a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled entirely by Google; the app only receives confirmation that the purchase was made so it can unlock Pro. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Network access
Mirari's own code makes no network requests: your models never leave your device. The app's network permission exists only because the Google Play Billing library needs it to reach Google Play. Google Play Billing and Google Play Services for AR may send technical and diagnostic information (for example library version and error reports) to Google, as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Analytics, ads and tracking
The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking SDKs, and it does not use any advertising identifier.
This website
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Its fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google's servers.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
